Late Summer Blooms

Just a few new blooms this week. The first is False Dragon Head. It's a little invasive but easily controlled and it is an excellent cut flower.

Cleome is blooming too. This self seeds easily.
A flower that I remember from my childhood is four o'clocks.  As a kid we would collect the hard black seeds and save them for the next year. In my coastal garden they are perennial.

Indian Summer in the curb garden is finally blooming. I planted the seeds very late.
The rose of the week is the McCartney rose.
This weeks cut flowers and an arrangement.
