Garden Fragrence

This weekend there was a chill in the air and it seemed as though every sound could be heard. Living in the city it is rare that background noise ceases. As I was cutting back and weeding the air was filled with the fragrance of tuberose and ginger lily. The silence and smell made it a special day to be in the garden. Both the tuberose and ginger lily are blooming late this year...pics below.
The beauty berry shrub is loaded with berries. I cut it back hard this past winter and the new growth is lush.
The rose garden is in full bloom now--the last flush of the year.  Here are four roses with the word 'black' in their name.
Black Baccara
 Black Ice
 Black Jack
 Black Magic
This weekends cut flowers and an arrangement.
