Mid June Flowers

Spent some time this week cutting plants back, deadheading and removing spent flower canes. I noticed a lot of vole activity--they almost got a toad lily but its in a cage now. The day lilies are in full bloom and the attention getter in the garden this week.
The Hydrangeas are still blooming nicely and the Monarda has had a very long season this year.
The Liatris and Phlox buds are just starting to show their color.
The Golden Showers rose is showing it's second flush of color.
Cleome and Black and Blue Sage are both in full bloom this week.
I never paid a lot of attention to the flowers on Cylerea but this year it is in heavy bloom.
This weeks church flowers and an arrangement.
