Remembering Ruby

On Saturday I attended a funeral Mass celebrating the life of Ruby Parks.  Ruby was 94.  I knew her as one of the ladies that made flower arrangements every week. Her determined but easy manner was evident in her arrangements. She was generous in sharing her talent and in helping me understand what she needed in cut flowers. So this week I thought I'd just post some of the arrangements made by her co-workers for the funeral Mass.

    Nice tribute Gene. I know how much time and pride you had in the flowers for the alter. Her handiwork will be missed by the whole congregation.
