The rose of the week is Richards Rose.
It felt great to cut flowers this week. I think there were 8 buckets which surprised me for this late in the season. And an arrangement too.

Dahlias in bloom
Perfect last week of Summer...pleasant temps and an inch of rain. What a wonderful way to close out the season. This week I showcase dahlias. They will produce large gorgeous blooms for the next two months and are inexpensive. A lot of flower power for a couple of dollars. They require very little in the way of care but I do need to stake them next year.
